This is one of my favourite staircase images, taken a number of years ago whilst photographing the penthouse apartment from the architects Yuncken Freeman. I decided to wait a while after I completed the shoot to capture this image. Using a slow shutter speed and a sturdy tripod, manipulated to capture the best angle(in my opinion!) I set the exposure manually and exposed.

Definitely one of the more interesting projects I have had to photograph in recent times…even the furniture was sourced globally to suit the design. Capturing Architecture requires a sturdy tripod, carefully positioned lighting avoiding reflections.
