On a recent trip to Vanuatu, early starts and late finishes were the norm in order to yield these results. To have the time to use my film camera (Hasselblad x pan) to create such memories is such a joy. During recent weeks I have had the chance to dig out the not so old x-pan film camera and run a couple of rolls through. I quite enjoy the process as I am made to think about my photography more than usual…rather than blasting a bracket of digital images, using film has enabled me to hone my techniques which can then be applied to what I do digitally.
Below there are a series of exposures made with my Hasselblad x-pan camera, a 35mm camera with panoramic capabilities. I love the tonal range I can obtain from these lenses.
